Danielle Archer, Ed.D., LMHC
With her years of experience as a family law paralegal and mental health professional, Danielle saw a need for quality, individualized and affordable services in the Central Florida community. Using her education, training and experience in both fields, she began Agape Court & Counseling Services.
Danielle completed her Bachelor of Science degree in Behavioral Science at the New York Institute of Technology. She went on to earn her Master of Science degree in Counseling Psychology from Palm Beach Atlantic University and obtained her Doctor of Education degree in Pastoral Community Counseling from Argosy University. While attaining those degrees, Danielle had the opportunity to complete her clinical practicums at various agencies in Lake County, Florida which included Lake Sumter Children’s Advocacy Center, Green Isle Children’s Ranch and S.A.D.L.E.S. She completed her post-graduate clinical supervision in various private practices in Lake County.
She has received specialized training in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy and Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. She also utilizes Sensorimotor Psychotherapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy. Danielle keeps her clients' individual needs at the forefront and works with them to determine their goals to help to optimize their treatment outcomes.
Danielle is currently a volunteer with EMDR Humanitarian Assistance Program (EMDR HAP), State Emergency Responders and Volunteers of Florida (SERVFL Registry), and State of Florida Disaster Behavioral Response Team. Her services are also available through TalkSpace, Give An Hour and the Camaraderie Foundation.
